GWA EVENT TERMS & CONDITIONS

For complete details on our terms and conditions that apply to registration and attending a GWA event, please read through the items below:
1) Ticket Purchase Is Final: This GWA event ticket is non-refundable. If you’d like to transfer your ticket please reach out to answers@globalworkspace.org for instructions on transferring.
2) Privacy: We may share your registration data with our event vendors in order to provide event information and help improve your experience at GWA or future events. For example, if we offer a mobile app, we might make your data available to the mobile app provider so it’s accessible through the app. We may also share your registration data with providers related to GWA events, like registration service providers. By providing your registration data to us, you grant us permission to do these things. You are also opting into the GWA mailing list for future communications.
3) Photography and Video: By participating and purchasing a ticket to a GWA event and related events, you consent to having your image, voice, likeness, presentation and/or other copyrightable material recorded, including video, audio, and still photography. We reserve the right to use recordings taken at GWA events and related events however we might choose to, without giving you notice or any compensation. We might use them, for example, in our press releases, marketing materials, or other publications. You agree to authorize the use of these images indefinitely without compensation to you.
These recordings might include content or material that is protected by copyrights, trademarks, or other rights which we own or license. So, other than for your personal use, you are not allowed to copy, reproduce, publish, or distribute the recordings without our written permission.
You will not use content that you capture during this GWA event (including but not limited to photos, video, and/or audio) (collectively, the “Captured Content”) for commercial purposes without the prior written consent of Global Workspace Association, LLC.
You will not use Captured Content to imply any endorsement or sponsorship of your business, services, and/or products by Global Workspace Association, LLC.
You are responsible for obtaining all consents, approvals, and releases necessary from any third party for your use of the Captured Content (including any individuals, trademark owners, etc. appearing in the Captured Content).
Captured Content may not be licensed to a third party for any purposes without the prior written approval of Global Workspace Association, LLC
You grant to Global Workspace Association a non-exclusive, worldwide, sub-licensable, royalty-free license to all copyrights associated with the Captured Content.
4) Agenda: We might make updates to the agenda from time to time, which could include a change in speakers or the cancellation of certain sessions. We can’t promise the attendance of any speaker, entertainer, or presenter and won’t refund your registration or provide any other compensation based on changes to the agenda. We also can’t guarantee admission to any certain session, since all sessions are subject to capacity limits and availability.
5) Event Behavior: By purchasing a GWA event ticket, you agree to be respectful of all attendee’s ideas and viewpoints. You agree to abide by common courtesies and to do your best to be a contributing member of the event community or you will be removed from the event.
6) Age Limitations: Attendees must be at least 18 years of age to partake in this GWA event and all related events. By participating in any virtual events where alcoholic drinking is suggested, you confirm you are at least 21 years of age. Of course, all drinking should be done responsibly.
7) Force Majeure: Global Workspace Association, LLC shall not be liable for delays in performance caused by any act of God, fire or other casualty, accident, strike, shortage of labor or materials, governmental action, industrial disturbance, or any other cause beyond Global Workspace Association, LLC’s reasonable control, and the time for Global Workspace Association, LLC’s performance shall be extended by the period of any such delay. Global Workspace Association, LLC reserves the right to apportion its production among its customers as it may determine.
8) Governing Law: This Agreement, the additional terms, conditions, and policies referenced herein (including the Site’s Privacy Policy and Refund Policy), your access or use of the Site or any Services, your registration with the Site, any transactions made on, through, or in relation to the Site, any products or services purchased on, through, or in relation to the Site (including, without limitation, the Services), the Parties’ relationship, and all disputes, controversies, and claims arising from or in connection with any of the foregoing (whether grounded in contract, tort, statute, law, or equity) is governed by the laws of the State of Texas in the United States of America and the applicable federal laws of the United States ofAmerica, regardless of its place of execution, its place of performance, and any conflicts of law analysis.
9) Event Updates: Unless otherwise expressly stated in this Agreement, Global Workspace Association, LLC may give or deliver all other notices to you by means of a general notice posted on this or another page of the event site, as applicable, or by email to your email address as you may provide to Global Workspace Association, LLC on or through the event site, and such notices shall be deemed effective as of their stated effective dates.
10) Terms and Conditions Updates: Please be aware that we may update and change any part or all of these Terms and Conditions at any time without notifying you first.
11) Safety Protocols: The GWA is committed to providing a safe, in-person event. Our event will follow all local Covid-19 regulations and protocols. In the interest of the safety of all our guests, we recommend taking a rapid or PCR test for proof of negative results before attending any gathering.
